Regina (Dino Crisis)

Here is another video that I thought looked really awesome.  Another speed spriting video, this time of Regina from Dino Crisis in a Chibi version sprite.  Again, the final result looks awesome.

Jill Speed Spriting

Here is an AMAZING video of an artist spriting Jill from Resident Evil 3 (and I guess you could count Marvel vs. Capcom 3 too, but I don't).  This artist does it from scratch and it has an amazing end result.  Definitely one sprite that gave me some inspiration.

Hi Res Spriting - Ibuki

This is one way to do some spriting.  The artist is using photoshop with a few open windows.  One for a reference picture, one for his palette and another for his actual work, in which he resized an original image and drew the outline and began coloring it after the outline was completed.  This can make for a much easier process than doing it from scratch!
